Benedictine Leadership Formation Program

The Benedictine Leadership Formation (BLF) is a four-series sponsorship formation program designed by Duluth Benedictine Ministries (DBM) for the leaders of all five sponsored ministries: Benedictine Health, The College of St. Scholastica, Catholic facilities of Essentia Health, St. Francis Regional Medical Center and St. Mary’s Health. The program’s purpose is to grow and empower compassionate leaders through exploration of the Benedictine traditions, Catholic Social Teaching, spirituality, Benedictine leadership and ethics. Each session has been carefully planned with the intention to increase awareness of Catholic identity and how it should look in our organizations, build appreciation and awareness of the Sisters legacy, growth in Benedictine leadership and self-reflection.
